I got this Ralph Lauren hunter green wool shawl-collar jumper sweater with elbow patches about 2 years ago, and it has become my favorite wintertime sweater. I am, seriously, in love with it, and I wear it with everything from jeans to sweats (which, like, duh, never except at home). But I love it and can’t get enough.

Today, my intern wore this sweater to work, which is cool. I complimented him on it and on how new it looked - what excellent condition the wool is in, etc. And he told me that he just bought it, at a RL outlet, for … $15.

When I bought it my mother bought it for me 2 years ago, it was $300. My disdain was, shall we say, unfortunately obvious.
